Sindy Taylor: Intuitive Healer
By: Linda Solomon
Sindy Taylor
, Intuitive Healer, offers healing work to locals and far flung
telephone clients. I met Sindy
at a party and was intrigued by her unusual answer to the
question, "What do you do?" I booked a session.
A bit about the mother of two boys who was born in Kenya and
raised in England:
"I dedicate myself to assisting others on their chosen journey
to self discovery and self empowerment," she says.
Taylor offers group workshops on topics such as "facing fears"
and "connecting to your higher self" from the boardroom, where
she works with corporate groups, to her basement office in West
Point Gray, where she works with individuals.
When called a "psychic," Taylor visibly flinches and yet the
experience of working with her reveals her to be just that.
"The word psychic means of or pertaining to the mind or
spirit," Taylor explains. But she adds that the word sometimes
turns people off and she prefers to describe herself as
"intuitive."
She receives "small packets" of information within her mind
about those she works with and has the ability to simply know
something that is being communicated to her from a client's
unconscious or soul, she says. "You have no clear idea of who,
what, or where this intuitiveness comes from but you just
simply know something to be," she writes on
her website.
Her array of services includes workshops, meditations,
individual work and energy healing for the home. To schedule an
appointment with Sindy Taylor, call 604) 224-7737.

going on in my life and to strengthen myself in a time of
stress. I actually needed a place to cry about some stuff,
and I got to have a big rainy sob session. I left light and
happy. I think she's gifted."
